Question

What has to be ready before the algorithm lessons can stay focused and repeatable?

Response

Session 00 prepares the working environment, explains the course archive, and ends with a small voxel system around a curve as the first practical test.

Rhino model units and clean file
Grasshopper one definition, named inputs
Python editor and loops
NexoRhino stubs and autocomplete

What the video will cover

  1. 00

    Introduce CodeJunkYard

Project goal, archive structure, bilingual access, and learning path.

  2. 01

    Prepare Rhino and Grasshopper

Set units, naming conventions, and a clean definition structure.

  3. 02

    Prepare Python and NexoRhino

Connect the stubs and confirm editor support works.

  4. 03

    Build a voxel test

Create a small voxel grid and keep boxes whose centers are close to a curve.

02

Voxel teaser

The first exciting test is a small voxel system around a curve. Build a 3D grid, take each voxel center, find the closest point on the curve, and keep the voxel when the distance is below a chosen threshold.

This is intentionally a center-distance test, not a full geometric intersection algorithm. It is simple enough for setup day and useful enough to feel like a real design tool.
